THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 50334 AND THE NEW 101321 QUALIFICATION

People who want to work with Outcome Based Education in South Africa should complete this qualification, (that include Freelancers, Training Managers and Trainers, Assessors and Moderators). Especially those who wants to work with Public and Private Colleges and Training Providers.
SETA Important information to note about one of the courses we currently offer: 50334 National Certificate: Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices	QCTO Important information to note about the new course: 101321 Occupational Certificate Training and Development Professional
Last date for enrolment is the 30 Jun 2024. Learners who enrolled before this date can still complete the courses until 30 June 2027, at no additional cost. There are no additional fees to enrol for this qualification through TrainYouCan, and you only process payment for the modules completed. (NO risk policy.) Learners who enrol for the full qualification through TrainYouCan before 30 June 2024 will automatically qualify for the FREE modules. Does not matter if you completed some of the modules through a different provider. The SETA will issue your final Certificate once all the credits was achieved. You also only pay for the modules you complete with TrainYouCan. New discounts only apply for new enrolments and courses not enrolled yet.	This qualification replaces 50334 and is available through the QCTO. (Not the SETA.) QCTO process for new qualification that is taking over takes longer to complete and will come at a higher cost. The new QCTO Qualification requires you to complete practical assignments with an employer, that will become very problematic for rural learners. These practical assignments can only be done with a registered site/employer and in many cases with additional cost. To Trainer, Assess or Moderator qualification under the QCTO, you need a qualification behind your name. For example: You will need a full NQF5 qualification behind your name in order to Trainer, Assessor or Moderator a NQF5 Qualification.
You able to transfer any part (module) of this qualification to any regonised country (by SAQA) in the world.	You won’t be able to transfer any part of this qualification if competed through the QCTO. (Only the full qualification.)
